Protection Ratings

Ballistic Levels

The level of ballistic protection differs according to the threat levels that clients wish to protect against. Ballistic protection ranges from level B2 to B7.

B2Protection

9mm handgun and .357 Magnum handgun (velocity of 358m/s).

B3Protection

9mm handgun and .357 Magnum handgun (velocity of 430m/s).

Level B3
B4Protection

Specifically engineered to protect vehicle occupants from handguns up to .44 Magnum.

Level B4
B6Protection

Protection against a range of high-calibre rifles including AK47, R4, R5, AR15 (velocity of 839m/s).

Level B6
B7Protection

Protection against most other high-calibre rifles, including armour-piercing bullets.
